Our goal
Aguila Construction Inc wants simivalleyaduconstruction.com to be usable by everyone. The site is built against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA: semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, a label on every form field, measured contrast and respect for the reduced-motion preference.
The form works without JavaScript and every page reads with a screen reader.
Known limitations
Last tested: October 5, 2026, with axe-core on every page of the site at 390 and 1280 pixels wide and keyboard navigation in Chromium (header, calls to action, form and footer). Not yet tested with a screen reader. What we know is missing:
- The images on the site are AI-generated illustrations; each carries descriptive alt text, but none shows a real Aguila job.
- Form validation messages come from the browser and appear in the browser's language.
- Data tables scroll sideways on narrow screens.
- Source documents we link to (City of Simi Valley, State of California, CSLB) are outside our control and may not be accessible.
- The Spanish text has not yet had a native-speaker review.
